Cover text
Two years ago, the Wizard came to the Land of Oz. Since that time, the dreams of the Wizard have changed everything. From the towers of the Emerald City, to the thoughts of the people all across the land, to the heart of a red-haired sorceress, there is nothing left untouched by the power of the Wonderful Wizard. But such power comes with a price, and the Wizard, Oscar Diggs, is tired.
The Wizard came to the Land of Oz with stories of freedom and liberty for all. These ideas changed the land and people, bringing power, fame, and loyalty to the Wizard. With power coming so easily to the Wizard and his city, envy and jealousy grip the surrounding lands.
The rulers of Oz know very well that the Wizard controls the people. They also know that whoever controls the Wizard and his mysterious power of dreams gains the power to control everything.
Two rivals square off to control the Wizard. Kalinya is widely known as the Wicked Witch of the East. As part of her scheme for power, she purchases magic to make her young and pretty again. Glinda is the young red-haired sorceress with the Wizard’s ear, but her hunger for knowledge drives her to dangerous experimentation. She rips out secrets that the Wizard held dear.
Betrayed and driven away by his true love, the Wizard finds new adventure holding the hand of a golden-eyed girl named Kally. Oscar’s tired mind loses control and his dreams begin to find life outside of his head and enter the real world.
With the fate of the entire Land of Oz at stake, who will control the Wizard?

Thanks Jack. This was an amazing story to write. I enjoyed reading it just as much as I enjoyed writing it. The cover has a story behind it, but that is for another Man Behind the Curtain post.
